Embarking on this journey, we acknowledge the unique challenges that accompany the aging process. In Kenya, where the elderly population surpasses 2.7 million, many traverse this path alone, particularly in regions like Baringo County. Limited access to healthcare and social support intensifies the difficulties they face. High costs, geographical barriers, and a shortage of trained caregivers further compound the challenge.
Our initiative extends beyond individual care. By providing comprehensive support for the elderly, we positively impact the entire community. Strengthening communal bonds and promoting a culture of care revitalizes the social fabric. Neighbors, families, and friends are reinvigorated by the spirit of collective compassion. This project not only enhances the lives of the elderly but also fosters a sense of unity and communal support within the community.
